Polyethylene glycol’s are chemicals with a range of applications, such as surfactants, skin conditioning agents, and/or emulsifying agents, often in baby productsi. The starting materials used to make PEG’s are both known to cause canceri, and there is a possibility that the raw material PEG’s are contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, another carcinogeniii.
